Multitalented Music Artist and Dancer, “John Bling”, born Jaun Orlando Bennett (meaning: “God’s Gracious Gift Blessed By God From the Fame Land”) in the community of Gordon Pen, Spanish Town in the Parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica on December 14th, 1984 has gained popularity through his dancing and deejaying with Jamaica’s best and most recognized dance crew, Black Blingaz, of which he was also a founding member circa 1998. John also goes by the trademark name of “Mr. Mirror”, classifying himself as a representation of a role model and a true reflection of ones inspirations, hopes and dreams. John’s motto of “Hard Work is the Key to Success” has gained him worldwide recognition for his many interests and talents in the entertainment business. John’s flavour for Fashion has won him “Best Dressed Male Dancer” through the “Dance Jamaica” Awards and also landed him a spot as the Host for HypeLife TV’s internet entertainment showcase, “Fashion All Over”, produced and directed by Jermaine “Miami” Johnson. Although John grew up in a community tarnished by reports of crime, violence and corruption, since a teenager, John has strived to touch the hearts of many through his dancing, with inspiration from the late Gerald “BOGLE” Levy, as well as the ”King of Pop”, Michael Jackson. John decided to make Dancing his career after kicking off what was to become the ‘Black Blingaz Era’ at the young age of 18, and came to realize that Migz, Marlon, German and Chris Bling, who make up the dance crew, all shared the same dream. The group began dancing professionally for performances all over the world in 2000 and has done shows in Antigua, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Canada, England, Japan and all over the United States, while representing the Dancehall culture from its core. Black Blingaz’ intention was to broadcast their message of unity and happiness through their dance. This undeniably talented team soon found themselves performing with the likes of Shaggy, Beenie Man, Capleton, Voicemail, Maka Diamond and international recording artists, Fantasia and Mya just to name a few. In 2006, they were able to showcase their new dance called “Tek Weh Yuh Self”, which was a slam dunk for dance steps throughout Jamaican history, making it an unusually and socially acceptable, along with number one dance on the Reggae Dancehall scene for 2007/2008. Entertainer, “Mr. Vegas”, took such a liking to the step, he later adopted the name of the dance move and recorded a song and a music video by the same name, and the dance became Jamaica’s number one dance. The music video was shot by Jay Will and the song was then remixed internationally featuring R&B/Hip Hop Artist, ‘Lil Kim, and it won the coveted “IRIE FM Radio Station Award” and an “EME Award” for ‘Best Original Dance Move’. The success of this dance step enabled them to travel and perform all over the world. Other famous moves include “Eva Fresh”, “Eva Clean”, “Myspace”, Caah Tireid”, “Step to Dem”, “Black Dem Out”, “Obama Rock” and “Sky Is Da Limit”. Recently, Black Blingaz were featured in New York City based company, Tower Isle Productions’ US feature Dancehall film called, “A Dance For Grace”, and also choreographed new dance moves just for the movie. John is featured on a song created for “A Dance For Grace”, with the same title and also had his own hit single featuring Dwayne Rose called, “Everybody Just Dance”. Along with Black Blingaz, John Bling was also featured dancing in Mr. G’s video for his song “Beat Dem Bad”. He is currently working on his own clothing line and began his own label with intentions of managing and promoting up-and-coming artists, music deejays and young dance crews, called ‘Blingaz Multimedia’. There is no man like me. I am a celestial being within the vessel that carries me. The Spirit of Truth and I can only do what it commands of us. I just need to listen to the voice that speaks to me at times when he is ready. Just looking at how people come so easily to me for direction, my friends will hate me because they cannot see that I am different. I was born to be a Priest after the Melchezidek Order and the Spirit of Truth will have its way with me one way or the other. I will have to find myself first and then learn how to communicate with that Spirit. It will guide me in the right path so I won’t be fooled by religion. Knowing the difference between good and evil and the reason I am here will help me find my way. Well, the time is now to tell people what they need to know, as Bob Marley did. Whether I want to or not, I still must do so. My Father did not bear this burden, so it is up to me to do so. But, the work I must do will cost me my life. Now, I must begin learning how to use my protection. The Spirit protects me but I still must learn how to communicate with it. My Dancing opens the gate to who I will ultimately become. You see only my shell but not my soul what’s inside my shell is beauty to behold.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS:
Count your blessings not by what you expect to receive, or should have had, but for what you’ve got. The happiest of people don’t necessary have everything; they just make the most of everything. So in everything, you need to give thanks for all you’ve got. Some people start out chasing everything and end up with nothing. People worry about tomorrow, when today is all they have. People hasting after tomorrow a shadow that can only be seen as an image in the course of its right timing, will only arrive to mental stress. Give thanks for the “NOW” while tomorrow worry about its self.

LIFE IS A PREFECT PICTURE:
Life is a prefect picture depending on your pose. Whether you’re photogenic or not, it is a move where the cameras is always rolling. You got no take 1, take 2, take, or take 10. It ends only when you, are the Most High say it ends. You can’t redo or undo scene, you can’t fast-forward, re-wind, stop or play scene. Remember you’re starting in your own movie, depending on the role you chose.

WHO ARE YOU
With no interest of trying to find out whom they really are some people lose their selves trying to be what everyone else wants them to be, but their selves. You got to be true to whom you are, search within yourself because you alone can define who you are, you can only be good at being you, and no one can say you doing it wrong.

CHARACTER SETTINGZ:
